I believe we all want to make a difference and that we want to participate in leaving this world a better place. I also know most of us have very little extra money to give away.
However, if moms like me who want to feed the homeless, clean a beach, or support an orphan can raise a little money through this program, it will add up and make a difference. And if all the dads and grandparents participate, it will really make a difference. And if we add in all the people that have causes they care about, then collectively we can make a huge difference. We can turn ordinary into extraordinary. We can make change. I am for Doctors Without Borders.
In Jackson, WY I co-created the BettyRock and Rendezvous Bistro. I also helped create The Jackson Hole Center for the Arts. I played college soccer at Middlebury, worked for the World Cup USA '94 organizing committee, started the Jackson Hole High School girl's soccer team and built soccer fields.
I live in California now and am focused on developing a company that can do some good in our crazy world. I'm for many things, but these days I'm really for clean oceans so my family can safely surf and all of us can revel in nature's greatest water park.
I began my professional career as a public high school teacher and went on to co-found the Jackson Hole Community School, an independent high school in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I served as Head of School from 2004 - 2014 and I now sit on the school's Board of Directors.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children, trail-running and coaching, playing, or watching soccer. I hold a BA from Middlebury College and a Master's Degree in Education from Stanford University. I am FOR access to quality education and clean drinking water for all.
